Hi, I'm Helen. My story begins in my birthplace, Iran. A mysterious and magical place full of rich tradition and ancient wisdom.

My family immigrated to San Diego when I was nearly 2 years old. In high school, I made my first trip to Iran and saw family members I couldn’t even remember.

I was moved by the warmth and wisdom of the culture and for the first time I really knew what it meant to be Persian. I admired the culture’s dedication to family, to learning and to self care.

I would watch my aunts grind and add saffron petals to delicate face oils and stood mesmerized as they massaged these rich oils onto their skin. I fell in love with my culture and returned home with appreciation for its ancient traditions
